Cooperative retail procurement organization GemaQ has placed all personalized, standard communication and marketing resources with Menuez International as of June 2023. With a customized Brand Management Platform, including a unique marketing calendar and image database, Menuez will support the head office and the more than 200 independent petrol and retail operators affiliated with GemaQ in increasing their visibility and selling assortment.
Through Menuez’ Brand Management Platform, petrol and retail entrepreneurs can easily format and order POS materials for product activations such as posters, window film, apparel and flyers. Shelf plans, national savings campaigns and imagery can also be quickly and easily downloaded through the platform. In addition, most items can be customized per location and translated to all other formats at the touch of a button. And to make it even easier for business owners, they also receive a reminder every month to participate in new actions, for example ordering the sandwich of the month. Menuez then provides the customized POS materials and narrowcasting input for the DOOH campaign. All while maintaining brand identity and without GemaQ having to worry about it.
Further expand member support
By bringing the local marketing activities to Menuez, GemaQ wants to make it even easier for independent gas stations to increase their visibility and sales. Letteke van der Kruk, GemaQ director, says the following: “The petrol and retail sector is challenged more than ever to respond well and smoothly to changing consumer behavior. The consumer has an increasing need for speed, experience, long opening hours, easy accessibility and new (convenience) products and services. Service stations are very capable of responding to these wishes, but they can use support and that is exactly what we do. Through the collaboration with Menuez, we are further expanding the support to our members. The automation provides more efficiency and faster switching, and at the same time we get more insight into the actual use of all promotional materials.”
Increase results local promotional activities
“The personalization and production of POS materials and marketing campaigns is where we differentiate ourselves with Menuez. Therefore, through our collaboration and the addition of our local on- and offline marketing expertise, we hope to increase the results of local promotional activities among GemaQ members. We enthusiastically look forward to the future of this partnership,” said Gijs Verbaten, owner of Menuez.
